Connect to Work is a supportive programme designed to help you move into or stay in employment with confidence. It offers personalised support tailored to your needs—whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to work, or facing challenges that are holding you back.

You’ll get help to build skills, boost confidence, understand your strengths, and connect with real job opportunities.

With guidance every step of the way, Connect to Work is here to help you achieve your goals and find work that’s right for you.

Who can join

Connect to Work help people to find and stay in work. This could be due to a disability, long term health condition or other circumstances which may present as barriers to employment. You can get help for up to 12 months from an expert. We work with many people, including:

  • People with long term health conditions

  • Care leavers

  • Refugees

  • Veterans

Start Your Journey With Your Local Employment Hub

Employment and Youth Hubs provide in-person support and information about different career options, jobs, and learning opportunities to adults and young people in Devon.

Hubs are also the gateway to the Connect to Work service, providing an initial assessment to understand your needs and whether Connect to Work is right for you.
